The Hertfordshire mother of computer hacker Gary McKinnon's blaming unelected officials for her ten year legal battle...

The asperger's sufferer won't be extradited to the United States after the Home Secretary yesterday ruled it would breach his human rights.

His mum Janis Sharp, who lives in Brookman's Park, claims civil servants and bureaucrats in America were putting pressure on politicians to extradite Gary.

The 46-year-old is accused by US prosecutors of "the biggest military computer hack of all time", but he has always claimed he was simply looking for evidence of UFOs.

Janis told JACK fm her son isn't medically fit to be sent to America: "It's not only asperger's to be concerned about - there is extensive mental illness in three generations of our family.

Gary could quite easily succombe to irrecoverable mental health damage.

His condition has already plummeted - Gary doesn't go out because people recognise him. He gets scared, so he stays inside with the curtains drawn."
