A Hertfordshire charity, co-founded by fashion designer Karen Millen, has released an unofficial anthem for the Olympic and Paralympic Games...
Broxbourne based charity Teens Unite Fighting Cancer run a respite house where diagnosed teens can escape from their worries.
The song 'Take Your Chance' is available to download from iTunes after being written by 23 year old Matthew Blakemore. The Hatfield man told JACK fm: "I was really inspired by the work that they do. It's absolutely fantastic. I felt like I wanted to do something to help the charity, and that's when I thought about writing the song which I also helps to spread around the Olympics and Paralympics spirit.
"So far we've had some celebrity support from the likes of Dwain Chambers and George Michael. Tom from The Wanted posted the music video on Twitter which has brought in a lot of support for the charity, and also Phillip Schofield."
The charity, which gets no funding from the government was set up in 2007.
Over the last 5 years it's been helping 300 teenagers across Hertfordshire who've been diagnosed with cancer, escape their worries by running activities at their respite house.
