ABOVE: Olympic torchbearer Hannah GallaherA Hertfordshire school girl has been telling JACK fm she's excited about carrying the Olympic torch in the summer...
12 year-old Hannah Gallaher is a pupil at Princess Helena College in Hitchin.
The year 7 pupil will carry the flame 300 metres on it's way through St Albans and will be the youngest person to take part that day.
Hannah will be one of 20 12 year olds chosen from schools across the country to take part in this exciting event.
She plays netball and lacrosse for the school, and is also a keen horse-rider; she was voted for by her classmates as someone who would represent the Olympic values of respect, excellence and friendship.
Headmistress Mrs Duncan commented: "I am delighted that Hannah has been selected and she will be a wonderful ambassador for Princess Helena College and the Olympics."
